How do you connect to what you read?

As you read, think of connections you make to the text that help you understand feelings, actions, characters, and information.  Track your connections with sticky notes using the codes:

T - S

Text to Self

T - T

Text to Text

T - W

Text to World

After you read, choose your most important connections to share with others by typing your thoughts in the Comment box below.  Remember to code your connections just like you do on your sticky notes.  If you make many thoughtful connections, your teacher may invite you to create a page of your own.  As we share our connections to the text, we are creating a new type of connection:  Reader to Reader.
